Piggy Paint

*CLOSED*

Every little girl wants to have pretty nails, but nail polish is so harsh and toxic for our little princesses. Kids are constantly putting their hands in their mouths and with polish on their little fingers you can't help but wonder what toxins they may be ingesting.

Piggy Paints nail polish is the safe nail polish choice for children. Created by Melanie Hurley, a stay-at-home mom of 2 little girls, who love to have their fingernails painted, this mom knows how important a kid-friendly polish is. These nail polishes are water-based and are as natural as mud. No toxic, harsh or even smelly chemicals in these polishes. They even offer a safe Nail Polish Remover as well. They come in great fun, vibrant colors with great names such as Ice Cream Dream, Girls Rule, Twinkle Toes, and Tea Party for Two. Now you can paint your little girls nails and feel at ease when she sucks her thumbs or licks her fingers.

Right now you can receive 15% off anything on their website. Offer ends August 15, 2009 and Coupon code is: GOLLY15L

One lucky reader has the chance to win a $20 gift code for anything at Piggy Paint.

Kinesys Review and Giveaway

*CLOSED*

If you couldn't already tell by the title of my blog....I am blonde. I also have blue eyes and with that combo comes fair skin and freckles. My son has the exact same coloring as me. What you don't know is that I had two pre-cancerous moles removed when I was 22. I was told that had I not removed one of them, I would've had skin cancer by age 25. Yep, skin cancer. Now age 25 has come and gone for me and now more than ever I am cautious about wearing sunscreen. I know that I am at a high risk for skin cancer. And of course I want to do everything I can to protect my son as well.

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try Kinesys sunscreen. I was given fragrence-free Kinesys kids SPF 30 spray sunscreen. My favorite parts about this sunscreen is you don't have to rub it in (which is perfect for the sandy beach), its water and sweat resistant, and it fits right in my purse so I carry it around with me.

Some of the great features of Kinesys sunscreens are:
  • Microspray formula

  • PABA-free

  • Hypoallergenic

  • non-comedogenic

  • Alcohol and Oil free

  • Broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection w/ Parsol 1789

  • Water & Sweat resistant

These sunscreens are great. If you prefer lotions to the spray bottles they have those as well. The other great thing about these products are how safe they are for the environment. Kinesys is the only sunscreen that is 100 % carbon neutral, cruelty free (100% free of animal by products and is certified vegan), and is 100% recyclable. With all these great factors, why would you use any other sunscreen?

I am giving away 1 4oz Kid's SPF 30 Alcohol-Free Spray and 1 4oz Hydrating Moisturizer with SPF 15, with a total value of $40.

To Enter: Tell what you like the most about Kinesys Sunscreens.
