I'll be honest with you...I love clothes. I mean what woman doesn't right? What I really like are "Mom tees." I love to wear shirts that announce to the world that I'm a mom. I am a proud mom, so why not show it off.

I recently received a Peace Love Mom tee and was super excited when it came. I got the Peace Flower Mom Soft Jersey Tee and I couldn't be happier with it. The fit was perfect. It wasn't too tight or too loose. The material was soft and the pattern of my shirt was adorable. I've worn it a bunch of times and washed it and the pattern hasn't faded. I wore it to Hunter's field day at school and got compliments from some of the other moms about my shirt. They have tees, tanks, thermals, hats and even kids shirts. And so many great sayings like Lucky Mom, Happy Mom, and Rock N Roll Mom just to name a few. Theres definitely a style for all moms.

The Giveaway: PeaceLoveMom would like to give one of you awesome readers a Peace Flower Mom Soft Jersey Tee of your own.

Let the Countdown Begin

What countdown?

BlogHer that is.

I know you are probably going to be reading posts about BlogHer until your eyes bleed and I'd like to say I promise not to over indulge you all with it......but I am just so frickin excited!!

It is now four weeks away and seriously I couldn't be more excited. I almost hope the next few weeks drag so that I can enjoy the anticipation of it all. This will be my first blogging conference and the first time I will meet any other bloggers. I am so looking forward to meeting in person some of the amazing writers I have gotten to know and love through their blog. And I'm looking forward to finding some new reads.

I have been excitedly trying to figure out what to wear. I've never been before so I really have no idea what to expect. I've been shopping with BlogHer in mind and have bought a couple really cute dresses. I'm bringing two suitcases, and no not for all my shoes. But to bring home all the swag i'll get. See, I am smart ;) . I just ordered my business cards the other day too. I'm gonna have business cards?!!

Ok, so if you've been reading my blog for a while and read my post from when I traveled to Philly , Washington, D.C. , and Vegas then you would know that it's the little things that excite me. I have done more traveling this year than I have in the past 10! And thats not that much. This will be the 2nd time out of the Eastern time zone...ever, and this year! Obviously, i've never been to Chicago so I really want to get a chance to venture out and see some of the city. I'm so touristy like that.

Okay, thats all for now. Sorry this was so scattered but that's how I get when I'm all pumped up!

Free Ecards

I always have the hardest time trying to find the "perfect" card for people. I want cards that will express exactly what I want to say. Everyone I know has email and what better way to send a card than with Ecards. Not only do they have a great variety of cards but they are Free Ecards. Some of the categories of cards they provide are Free Birthday Ecards, free love ecards, congratulations ecards, and even free fathers day ecards. One of the features they provide on this site, is you can customize most of the cards. So you can add your photo or your voice to a card. Just think for that long distance relative how nice it would be to hear your voice on a Ecard.

Personally, I like sending friendship cards to my friends as a way to keep in touch and let them know I'm thinking of them. Here is one that I really like.

They also have Free July 4th Ecards, which I think are a really neat idea.

Whatever the occasion and whatever you are trying to say Ecards has it. And if you like the old fashion way of sending cards in the mail, on this site you can get Free Printable Cards too! This is one site you are definitely going to want to check out the next time you need to send a card.

I am participating in "Jump Start Your Blog Contest" sponsored by got-free-ecards and momdot.

Wordless Wednesday- Fathers Day

Since Sunday is father's day, I thought it fitting to dedicate this weeks WW to fathers day. Hunter's father is not involved in his life at all and his father figure is my grandfather. Papa. They are two peas in a pod. Best friends. My mother says they are soul mates. The bond Hunter shares with Papa is so incredible, he'll probably never share a bond like this with anyone else. And for the past few years, Hunter has made Papa cards for fathers day.

Happy Wordless Wednesday!!

Bella Sara Review

When I was a little girl, I was very much into fantasy especially fairies, unicorns, and horses. I liked horses so much I had convinced my mother to let me take horse-back riding lessons. The Bella Sara trading cards make me wish I had a little girl. But then again, I would probably use it as an excuse to play with them myself.

I'd like to introduce to you all Bella Sara's new line of trading cards, Royalty. Bella Sara is a trading card game for girls that coincides with the magical online world, North of North, that is home to the most beautiful horses. Each card features a beautiful horse with a positive, inspirational message. Royalty is the ninth series and allows you to experience the royal realms, castles, royalty-themed activities, and even introduces Sara for the first time ever with her very own card. The Royalty pack includes a ticket card in copper, silver or gold with one code to allow different levels of access, 1 tattoo card, 1 sticker card, and 5 Bella Sara horses. I think the concept of getting to create your own virtual world is fantastic. It leaves so much room for a little girls imagination to run wild and get lost in a world she creates.

What little girl wouldn't want to open a magical world where she can nurture virtual horses and play games? My niece absolutely loves these cards and I can't wait to give her this new line. I know she will be thrilled. These are perfect for the perfect girl in your life too.

Thank you to Team Mom for allowing me this opportunity to introduce my readers to the new Bella Sara Royalty line.

TNT Knows Drama

While most network series shows are finishing their seasons, TNT's series are just starting. June marks the month for TNT's season premieres. TNT has three returning hit series and two all new series set to premiere this month. I was so excited to have the opportunity to see all five of the new seasons of shows from TNT. Now, allow me to give you all a brief synopsis of all of these terrific shows.

THE CLOSER

The Closer returns for its fifth season Monday, June 8. Kyra Sedgwick plays Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson, the head of the LAPD homicide unit. As a skillful and tactful detective she closes nearly every case with a suspect's confession. Work takes first priority in her life, which leads to much drama in her personal life. Season four ended with her wedding, and this season is going to be a year of change. I promise you won't want to miss this season! Here's a sneak peek:

RAISING THE BAR

Raising the Bar returns for its second season also premiering Monday, June 8, following The Closer. Mark-Paul Gosselaar stars in this show as public defender Jerry Kellerman, who is willing to do whatever he can to get a not guilty verdict for his clients. His boss, Roz Whitman (Gloria Reuben) oversees the office but wishes she could spend more time in the courtroom. Judge Trudy Kessler (Jane Kaczmarek) who handles most of the cases in her courtroom wants to become the next district attorney. The show follows the cases and lives of young lawyers who work in the public defender's office and the district attoryney's office. This season's cases tackle such issues as hate crimes, drug dealing, and child porn. They are also introducing a new judge this season. I love the courtroom battles and the personal relationships of the characters in this great show.
Here's a sneak peek:

SAVING GRACE

Saving Grace, which happens to be one of my favorites, returns for its third season on Tuesday, June 16. Holly Hunter is phenomenal as Oklahoma City Police Detective Grace Handarko. She is gutsy, fiesty and holds nothing back...ever. Grace investigates brutal crimes and must figure out cryptic messages from her last-chance angel, Earl. Earl has to coax Grace towards God and he does so by leading Grace to other people who shares a connection with Earl. I can't wait for this season to start!

Wedding Day is a brand new series set to premiere Tuesday, June 16. Every couple dreams of having the perfect wedding day and TNT has given some deserving couples a helping hand in making it the most magical day. Wedding Day is the networks first un-scripted drama. Watch as each week, celebrity event planner and food expert Alan Dunn and celebrity wedding producer and designer Diann Valentine host as family, friends, and community come together to create a dream wedding. Along the way, we'll learn each couple's compelling story, from their first date to their wedding date. This is a true feel good show depicting real people and their real life stories.

HAWTHORNE

Hawthorne is an all new Drama series set to premiere Tuesday, June 16. Jada Pinkett Smith stars as Christina Hawthorne is a compassionate and headstrong nurse. She fights for her patients and even takes on doctors and administrators when necessary. Hawthorne is recently widowed and is still coming to terms with losing her husband, balancing her career, and raising her teen-age daughter. With all the drama surrounding this leading character, this show is sure to be a hit.

What Home Means to Me

When i think of home, i think of being in a safe, comfortable environment. My home is where my most precious and cherished memories of being a mother take place. This is where my son has grown. Its where I am greeted with hugs, kisses and smiles everyday no matter what. It's the only place where I am not judged for being silly, or goofy, cranky, or even miserable. Home allows me to be myself, through good and bad.

My home is where I spend my quality time with my family. Family dinners, movie nights, and play games are done all at home. Home is that special place that will always be there for you. Everyone's home is different and unique to what they're preferences are. My home has a very "lived in," comfortable, kid-friendly feel to it. It may be messy at times, but I am okay with that because I know that it's a sanctuary for both me and my son.

There is a new movie coming out called, Away We Go. And at TwitterMoms they want to hear about what Home means to you. So head on over there and share a post about your meaning of Home.

How Many Damn Frogs Do I Have to Kiss?!

This is how I'm feeling right at this very moment:
Heartbroken, crushed, confused, and stupid.

Why?

I hate being single.

Yup, it sucks!!

Usually I don't mind because I like to do my own thing and I know I don't need a man. But today, I hate it. You see, what you don't know, is that I've been in a relationship for about two months. Until today. He decided he's not sure if he wants a relationship but has fun hanging out with me, so he needs "time". I'm no fool, I know that that means you want out and you just tried to let me down gently. Well there is nothing "gentle" about break-ups. Especially if you're the one trying to make it work and doesn't want it to end. I'm confused because things were so good, I just don't get it. And of course, I have to be a girl and start dwelling about things that I've said and think maybe i scared him off when I said "such and such". Yes, I have lots of those insert-foot-into-mouth moments. Like 20 minutes later I always think, why the hell did I say that? And wish I could somehow take it back.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I don't know if I'm picking the wrong guys or if I just flat out suck at relationships. I don't know. But as I get closer to that 30 age, I'm starting to worry that I'll never settle down. And that is an honest fear of mine. Hunter is gonna be 8 this fall and I don't want him to be an only child his entire life. I want to get married. I want more kids. And I am so afraid that it's gonna be too late for me.

So here I sit, eating what's left of the gallon of Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream, feeling sad and mopey. This is the only thing I've eaten all day. I barely slept last night and all I did today, up until now, was lay in bed. I hate this feeling. The dating scene sucks! Maybe I should just give up all together.

I'm on this emotional roller coaster and I can't wait for it to stop. I just really needed to get this all off my chest. And isn't that the best thing about blogging?

I think I'll watch He's Just Not that Into You tonight....seems appropriate today, huh!

Eden Fantasy's Review #3

*Warning* This post contains adult material and may not be suitable for children. Another words, tell your kids to scram...its mommy time!

My dear good friends over at Eden Fantasy's have done it again!

What have they done?

Well, they have supplied me with yet another send-me-to-oblivion vibrator.

Ahhh.....the Fonzie.

I was very excited (no pun intended) when it arrived in the typical speedy fashion. I swear this company has the fastest delivery time and packaging is always discreet.

The Fonzie is a g-spot and clitoral stimulator and for anyone who enjoys the simultaneous action, this is great. What I love about this sex toy is the multiple speeds. You just press the button at the bottom of the vibrator and it changes to seven different vibrating and pulsating settings. I would have to say that the speeds and pulses on this adult toy are my favorite over any other one I've tried so far. The shape of the tip of the Fonzie is perfect to hit that G-spot. The clitoral stimulator vibrates as well. However, it didn't quite reach my clitoris as well as I would've liked but I pressed it down and that did the trick. To me, holding it down isn't that big of a deal anyways, I like to have the dual stimulating action. I also really like the texture of this sex toy, as with the other ones I have tried, its very soft and smooth. I would, without hesitation, say that the Fonzie makes my list of Top 10 sex toys.

So cheers to my friends at Eden Fantasys for again allowing me to experience another moment of euphoria.

Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories- Giveaway

Reading to your child is probably one of the most important and influential activities you can do. I love reading to my son at night and now that he is getting older I am enjoying having him read to me. I get such a proud feeling when I see him sounding out words and his face lights up when he gets a long word right. Cheerios has also recognized the value of reading to children.

About Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories program:
Over the past seven years, Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories has given away more than 35 million children's books by distributing them free inside cereal boxes and has donated nearly $3 million to First Book, their non-profit partner, which provides books to children from low-income families.

In addition to encouraging children to read, Cheerios is looking for anyone interested in writing children's books. Now in its third year, the Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories New Author Contest is a way to encourage previously unpublished, up-and-coming children's book authors and to continue to nurture a love of reading. Entries are being accepted March 16 through July 15, 2009 and will be judged on appropriate story and content for children ages 3-8, emotional connection, writing quality, uniqueness, and read-aloud potential. More details on the contest can be found at
www.spoonfulsofstoriescontest.com.

The first years winner, Shellie Braeuner, won for her book "The Great Dog Wash" had her book reviewed by Simon & Schuster's Children's Publishing and was then offered a book deal. Her book will be published in hard cover this summer. How great is that?! I had the opportunity to read this book and both Hunter and I love it. Such a cute story.

I received a Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories gift set which includes a copy of "The Great Dog Wash" as well as three other books from the spoonfuls library from My Blog Spark and they would also like to offer one of my readers a gift set as well.

Hoover Platinum Cordless Stick Vacuum Giveaway

I would like to introduce you all to the Hoover Platinum Collection vacuum cleaners. This new collection has 6 innovative floor cleaners that deliver superior cleaning performance along with specially designed features to make cleaning faster and easier. With products ranging from upright vacuums to carpet cleaners to cordless units, there is a Platinum Collection model for every home and every task.

I was so excited when I received the Cordless Stick Vacuum from Hoover's Platinum Collection. Its perfect for the bare floors and even easily transitions to carpets. It is the first stick vacuum to features Hoover's patented WindTunnel Technology, which utilizes 3 suction tunnels to lift and remove even the hidden dirt on carpet.

Stick Vacuum Features:
  • Upright Performance- Windtunnel Technology and cyclonic filtration combine to outperform traditional corded uprights on hard floors.
  • Fade Free Power- Fade Free Power: Interchangeable 18 Volt Lithium Ion battery ensures the battery sustains power until it is completely drained.
  • One Step Cleaning- One-touch Brushroll activation makes easy transition from hard floors to carpets.
  • Edge Cleaning Bristles allow for closer access to walls and corners.
  • Low Profile Base and Extreme Recline Handle allow for easy access under furniture.
  • Unique Wide Mouth Opening makes quick work of vacuuming cereal, pet food, etc.
  • Stands like an upright. No leaning it on walls
  • Battery Fuel Gauge- Battery Fuel Gauge: Battery Level Indicator instantly registers remaining battery life.

Watch me as I demonstrate how well it works:

This vacuum is simple to use and extremely lightweight. It picked up all the crumbs underneath my dining room table, and was powerful enough to pick up all the cat hair. I always have a hard time sweeping up all the kitty litter that spills out of the box too, for some reason, I can never seem to get it all. But the stick vacuum was able to just suck it all up in a matter of seconds. I am really impressed with this vacuum and all its features. I love that I don't have to plug it in and drag around a cord and it easily glides across the floors. I actually don't mind vacuuming at all anymore.

In my opinion, Hoover has definitely set the bar pretty high for all its competitors.

How would you like to win one of these impressive pieces of machinery for yourself?? One lucky reader has their chance to win their very own Hoover Platinum Cordless Stick Vacuum.

Required Entry: Visit the Hoover Platinum Collection and come back here and tell me what other product from this new collection you would love to have. Remember if this entry is not done all others will be disqualified, and for such a great prize why chance it!
