Eden Fantasy's- Review #4

*This post contains adult content....so look around and send your kiddos into the other room!!*

As if you couldn't already tell I have a "thing" for Eden Fantasys. Let me admit, that before Eden Fantasy's came knocking on my door, i only owned one vibrator. Yes, just one! Can you believe that? A 20-something single woman with only one sex toy. Through these reviews I have become a lot more comfortable in my sexuality and even talking about it. No shyness here!!

Alright, so on to the review. Well Drew from Eden Fantasys happens to be one of my favorite reps. Why? Because he is so easy and comfortable to talk to and he never lets me down. This time around I told him to surprise me with something fun. And a few days later, it came. Now this adult toy is something totally different than I have ever used or even expected. I received the Sparkle Scepter Glass dildo. This is my first and only glass dildo that i own. Naturally, I start thinking it's glass. Afraid of breakage and shattering and all the unpleasantries that go along with it but I took the time to read the box and look it up on the internet and was convinced that it would be safe. It is made from highly durable tempered glass.

This is a very pretty dildo...it has pink on it! This would be a great, fun dildo if you and your significant other wanted to add a little excitement to the bedroom. What I found really neat about the glass dildos is that you can ice it up or heat it up for some different sensations. I had a lot of fun using it myself, however I can't seem to get off unless I have some vibrating action going on too. The bumps on it are not rough at all, they actually feel quite nice. The knob on the end is perfectly shaped and sized for control of movement. My recommendation is to keep the box and packaging because it doesn't come with a protective sleeve or anything. I always return mine to the box and sit it in the styrofoam so it doesn't break. Also becuase it is glass...super easy to clean. You could even stick it in the diswasher if you wanted to but water and soap also do just fine.

Overall I think this is a perfect little product. So thank you again to Drew at Eden Fantasys for expanding my *um* collection a little further.

Bake Me A Wish- Review and Giveaway

You could say I have a sweet tooth but that would be a lie. An obsession with sweets sounds a little more honest. I'm really not a big cake person, never have been. I never eat cake at birthday parties because I just don't think they taste all that good. But really, have you ever had a delicious birthday cake from a supermarket? Don't kid yourself. So, when I was given the opportunity to try a gourmet cake from Bake Me A Wish I jumped on it. Partly because my stomach was saying, "Mmm...sweets," and my head was saying, "It's gotta be better than the supermarket."

I chose the Cookies N Cream Singular Sensations cake and I'm not even kidding when I tell you that Hunter and I devoured that cake in one sitting. I was happy but my waistline probably wasn't. We literally opened it the second we were done with dinner. It was such a perfectly size cake for the two of us...okay so I probably didn't need help eating it and it was in the cutest little box and included a greeting card. Yes, packaging does count. To be completely honest, sitting here writing this kinda sucks because my mouth is watering just thinking about how delicious that cake was.......and now its gone. It was perfectly moist and just yummy in every way. I probably even licked the box when I was done, I can't remember I was in such a state of bliss.

These are perfect little birthday cakes or even as a dessert at a BBQ. Lucky for me, Hunter's birthday is in September and I have now just found the perfect cake. With cakes like Vanilla Bean Cake, Red Velvet Chocolate Cake, Tiramisu Cake, and Peanut Butter Mousse Cake there is definitely a cake for everyones taste buds. You've really got to try these!

Not only do they make fantastic cakes but they also have what they call "Operation: Birthday Cake." A program for our soldiers overseas!! And as the sister and grand daughter of Marines, this really means a lot to me.

5% of any cake order goes to Bake Me A Wish!’s Operation: Birthday Cake, which, together with their partner Soldiers’ Angels donates birthday cakes each month to soldiers overseas who are having a birthday. As you can imagine it is a great morale booster to a soldier to be remembered on their birthday.

How awesome is that? Makes you want to hop over there and buy a bunch of cakes, doesn't it.

Casio Exilim Digital Camera

Taking pictures is one of my favorite things to do. I am by no means a great photographer at all. But I love taking pictures anyways, just to capture all of life's moments. And since I'm no professional, I look for camera's that can help me take amazing photographs. Casio's high speed Exilim digital camera does just that.

I can't even tell you how thrilled I was to get a chance to review Casio's Exilim EX-S5 digital camera. When it first arrived, right off the bat, I was amazed at how slim and compact the camera is. The color was awesome too, blue. The LCD screen was larger than my previous camera and there were a lot less buttons. My previous camera had a turn button on the back to change the settings to night, scenery, movie, etc. I was constantly accidently turning the button and it would change the setting and of course, I wouldn't notice until after I took the picture. This camera (thankfully) does not have that. Instead it has normal buttons to change the settings. Some camera's I think take a while to figure everything out and get adjusted to how it works, but I found this camera to be rather simple. Probably due to the fact that there were fewer buttons, but the functions were all there.

I have used this camera just about every day since I got it. I brought it with me when I recently went out with a group of girlfriends and they were all impressed with its high speed. Meaning, we didn't have to wait for forty flashes before it took the picture. It takes the picture in exceptional speed. My two favorite functions is the face detection and Best Shot mode. Best Shot mode allows you to take the best quality picture possible in certain settings (23) such as scenery, portrait, food, sports, flowers, sundown, etc. I am really happy with the way my pictures have turned out using these settings.

Here is a picture of fireworks that I took friday night, July 3rd at around 8:30pm est. This was done using the fireworks setting under the Best Shot mode.

This next one is a picture I took using the sports setting under the Best Shot mode.

And here is one on the regular mode

As you can see, this camera takes fabulous pictures. Let me list some of this camera's specifications.

  • 10.1 megapixels
  • 3x optical zoom
  • YouTube capture mode
  • SDHC Memory Card, SD Memory Card, Eye-Fi wireless Card compatible
  • 4x digital zoom (12x in combination with optical zoom)
  • rechargeable lithium ion battery
  • 2.7-inch wide TFT color LCD
I am very happy with this camera overall. I can't think of anything I would change about it. It fits nicely in my purse and more importantly in my clutch. And the picture quality is truly wonderful.

Thanks to Casio, I get to offer one of my readers their very own Casio Exilim EX-S5!! Lucky ducks you!

Ouchies- Review and Giveaway

*CLOSED*

When your a young teenager or even a tween, you're easily embarrassed. Remember those days? I sure do. Luckily, I don't have a teenager yet but I've noticed that my seven year old is starting to take a lot more notice of his appearance and what people may think of him. Aaaah, the beginning of it all. Well, what if you could help ease some of that embarrassment?

Ouchies is a brand of bandages that are fashionable for teens and tweens. Their motto Hide your wound, not your style speaks so much for their bandages. They've got Teen-Ages Girl Bands, Teen-Ages Boy Bands, and even make your Own-Ages. And trust me the designs on these are pretty cool, even for me. Each tin is specially designed for a boy or a girl and includes 20 bandaids, 4 of each design.

I was lucky enough to receive both the boy and girl bandages to review. I have to say that I loved the designs on the girl bandaids so much that I've kept them for myself. Hunter thought they were the coolest bandaids he had ever seen. His favorite ones were the skulls. They are definitely fashionable bandages and I think the kids who are "too old" for Dora and Spongebob, but don't want to look boring with the plain ones, will love these. The quality of the bandaid was good as well, we didn't have any issues with them sticking at all.

One of you lucky readers will win their choice of boy or girl bandaids from Ouchies.

To Enter: Tell me which Ouchies you would choose if you won.

Kinesys Review and Giveaway

*CLOSED*

If you couldn't already tell by the title of my blog....I am blonde. I also have blue eyes and with that combo comes fair skin and freckles. My son has the exact same coloring as me. What you don't know is that I had two pre-cancerous moles removed when I was 22. I was told that had I not removed one of them, I would've had skin cancer by age 25. Yep, skin cancer. Now age 25 has come and gone for me and now more than ever I am cautious about wearing sunscreen. I know that I am at a high risk for skin cancer. And of course I want to do everything I can to protect my son as well.

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try Kinesys sunscreen. I was given fragrence-free Kinesys kids SPF 30 spray sunscreen. My favorite parts about this sunscreen is you don't have to rub it in (which is perfect for the sandy beach), its water and sweat resistant, and it fits right in my purse so I carry it around with me.

Some of the great features of Kinesys sunscreens are:
  • Microspray formula

  • PABA-free

  • Hypoallergenic

  • non-comedogenic

  • Alcohol and Oil free

  • Broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection w/ Parsol 1789

  • Water & Sweat resistant

These sunscreens are great. If you prefer lotions to the spray bottles they have those as well. The other great thing about these products are how safe they are for the environment. Kinesys is the only sunscreen that is 100 % carbon neutral, cruelty free (100% free of animal by products and is certified vegan), and is 100% recyclable. With all these great factors, why would you use any other sunscreen?

I am giving away 1 4oz Kid's SPF 30 Alcohol-Free Spray and 1 4oz Hydrating Moisturizer with SPF 15, with a total value of $40.

To Enter: Tell what you like the most about Kinesys Sunscreens.

I recently received a Peace Love Mom tee and was super excited when it came. I got the Peace Flower Mom Soft Jersey Tee and I couldn't be happier with it. The fit was perfect. It wasn't too tight or too loose. The material was soft and the pattern of my shirt was adorable. I've worn it a bunch of times and washed it and the pattern hasn't faded. I wore it to Hunter's field day at school and got compliments from some of the other moms about my shirt. They have tees, tanks, thermals, hats and even kids shirts. And so many great sayings like Lucky Mom, Happy Mom, and Rock N Roll Mom just to name a few. Theres definitely a style for all moms.

Free Ecards

I always have the hardest time trying to find the "perfect" card for people. I want cards that will express exactly what I want to say. Everyone I know has email and what better way to send a card than with Ecards. Not only do they have a great variety of cards but they are Free Ecards. Some of the categories of cards they provide are Free Birthday Ecards, free love ecards, congratulations ecards, and even free fathers day ecards. One of the features they provide on this site, is you can customize most of the cards. So you can add your photo or your voice to a card. Just think for that long distance relative how nice it would be to hear your voice on a Ecard.

Personally, I like sending friendship cards to my friends as a way to keep in touch and let them know I'm thinking of them. Here is one that I really like.

They also have Free July 4th Ecards, which I think are a really neat idea.

Whatever the occasion and whatever you are trying to say Ecards has it. And if you like the old fashion way of sending cards in the mail, on this site you can get Free Printable Cards too! This is one site you are definitely going to want to check out the next time you need to send a card.

I am participating in "Jump Start Your Blog Contest" sponsored by got-free-ecards and momdot.

Bella Sara Review

When I was a little girl, I was very much into fantasy especially fairies, unicorns, and horses. I liked horses so much I had convinced my mother to let me take horse-back riding lessons. The Bella Sara trading cards make me wish I had a little girl. But then again, I would probably use it as an excuse to play with them myself.

I'd like to introduce to you all Bella Sara's new line of trading cards, Royalty. Bella Sara is a trading card game for girls that coincides with the magical online world, North of North, that is home to the most beautiful horses. Each card features a beautiful horse with a positive, inspirational message. Royalty is the ninth series and allows you to experience the royal realms, castles, royalty-themed activities, and even introduces Sara for the first time ever with her very own card. The Royalty pack includes a ticket card in copper, silver or gold with one code to allow different levels of access, 1 tattoo card, 1 sticker card, and 5 Bella Sara horses. I think the concept of getting to create your own virtual world is fantastic. It leaves so much room for a little girls imagination to run wild and get lost in a world she creates.

What little girl wouldn't want to open a magical world where she can nurture virtual horses and play games? My niece absolutely loves these cards and I can't wait to give her this new line. I know she will be thrilled. These are perfect for the perfect girl in your life too.

Thank you to Team Mom for allowing me this opportunity to introduce my readers to the new Bella Sara Royalty line.

TNT Knows Drama

While most network series shows are finishing their seasons, TNT's series are just starting. June marks the month for TNT's season premieres. TNT has three returning hit series and two all new series set to premiere this month. I was so excited to have the opportunity to see all five of the new seasons of shows from TNT. Now, allow me to give you all a brief synopsis of all of these terrific shows.

THE CLOSER

The Closer returns for its fifth season Monday, June 8. Kyra Sedgwick plays Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson, the head of the LAPD homicide unit. As a skillful and tactful detective she closes nearly every case with a suspect's confession. Work takes first priority in her life, which leads to much drama in her personal life. Season four ended with her wedding, and this season is going to be a year of change. I promise you won't want to miss this season! Here's a sneak peek:

RAISING THE BAR

Raising the Bar returns for its second season also premiering Monday, June 8, following The Closer. Mark-Paul Gosselaar stars in this show as public defender Jerry Kellerman, who is willing to do whatever he can to get a not guilty verdict for his clients. His boss, Roz Whitman (Gloria Reuben) oversees the office but wishes she could spend more time in the courtroom. Judge Trudy Kessler (Jane Kaczmarek) who handles most of the cases in her courtroom wants to become the next district attorney. The show follows the cases and lives of young lawyers who work in the public defender's office and the district attoryney's office. This season's cases tackle such issues as hate crimes, drug dealing, and child porn. They are also introducing a new judge this season. I love the courtroom battles and the personal relationships of the characters in this great show.
Here's a sneak peek:

SAVING GRACE

Saving Grace, which happens to be one of my favorites, returns for its third season on Tuesday, June 16. Holly Hunter is phenomenal as Oklahoma City Police Detective Grace Handarko. She is gutsy, fiesty and holds nothing back...ever. Grace investigates brutal crimes and must figure out cryptic messages from her last-chance angel, Earl. Earl has to coax Grace towards God and he does so by leading Grace to other people who shares a connection with Earl. I can't wait for this season to start!

Wedding Day is a brand new series set to premiere Tuesday, June 16. Every couple dreams of having the perfect wedding day and TNT has given some deserving couples a helping hand in making it the most magical day. Wedding Day is the networks first un-scripted drama. Watch as each week, celebrity event planner and food expert Alan Dunn and celebrity wedding producer and designer Diann Valentine host as family, friends, and community come together to create a dream wedding. Along the way, we'll learn each couple's compelling story, from their first date to their wedding date. This is a true feel good show depicting real people and their real life stories.

HAWTHORNE

Hawthorne is an all new Drama series set to premiere Tuesday, June 16. Jada Pinkett Smith stars as Christina Hawthorne is a compassionate and headstrong nurse. She fights for her patients and even takes on doctors and administrators when necessary. Hawthorne is recently widowed and is still coming to terms with losing her husband, balancing her career, and raising her teen-age daughter. With all the drama surrounding this leading character, this show is sure to be a hit.

Eden Fantasy's Review #3

*Warning* This post contains adult material and may not be suitable for children. Another words, tell your kids to scram...its mommy time!

My dear good friends over at Eden Fantasy's have done it again!

What have they done?

Well, they have supplied me with yet another send-me-to-oblivion vibrator.

Ahhh.....the Fonzie.

I was very excited (no pun intended) when it arrived in the typical speedy fashion. I swear this company has the fastest delivery time and packaging is always discreet.

The Fonzie is a g-spot and clitoral stimulator and for anyone who enjoys the simultaneous action, this is great. What I love about this sex toy is the multiple speeds. You just press the button at the bottom of the vibrator and it changes to seven different vibrating and pulsating settings. I would have to say that the speeds and pulses on this adult toy are my favorite over any other one I've tried so far. The shape of the tip of the Fonzie is perfect to hit that G-spot. The clitoral stimulator vibrates as well. However, it didn't quite reach my clitoris as well as I would've liked but I pressed it down and that did the trick. To me, holding it down isn't that big of a deal anyways, I like to have the dual stimulating action. I also really like the texture of this sex toy, as with the other ones I have tried, its very soft and smooth. I would, without hesitation, say that the Fonzie makes my list of Top 10 sex toys.

So cheers to my friends at Eden Fantasys for again allowing me to experience another moment of euphoria.

Hoover Platinum Cordless Stick Vacuum Giveaway

I would like to introduce you all to the Hoover Platinum Collection vacuum cleaners. This new collection has 6 innovative floor cleaners that deliver superior cleaning performance along with specially designed features to make cleaning faster and easier. With products ranging from upright vacuums to carpet cleaners to cordless units, there is a Platinum Collection model for every home and every task.

I was so excited when I received the Cordless Stick Vacuum from Hoover's Platinum Collection. Its perfect for the bare floors and even easily transitions to carpets. It is the first stick vacuum to features Hoover's patented WindTunnel Technology, which utilizes 3 suction tunnels to lift and remove even the hidden dirt on carpet.

Stick Vacuum Features:
  • Upright Performance- Windtunnel Technology and cyclonic filtration combine to outperform traditional corded uprights on hard floors.
  • Fade Free Power- Fade Free Power: Interchangeable 18 Volt Lithium Ion battery ensures the battery sustains power until it is completely drained.
  • One Step Cleaning- One-touch Brushroll activation makes easy transition from hard floors to carpets.
  • Edge Cleaning Bristles allow for closer access to walls and corners.
  • Low Profile Base and Extreme Recline Handle allow for easy access under furniture.
  • Unique Wide Mouth Opening makes quick work of vacuuming cereal, pet food, etc.
  • Stands like an upright. No leaning it on walls
  • Battery Fuel Gauge- Battery Fuel Gauge: Battery Level Indicator instantly registers remaining battery life.

Watch me as I demonstrate how well it works:

This vacuum is simple to use and extremely lightweight. It picked up all the crumbs underneath my dining room table, and was powerful enough to pick up all the cat hair. I always have a hard time sweeping up all the kitty litter that spills out of the box too, for some reason, I can never seem to get it all. But the stick vacuum was able to just suck it all up in a matter of seconds. I am really impressed with this vacuum and all its features. I love that I don't have to plug it in and drag around a cord and it easily glides across the floors. I actually don't mind vacuuming at all anymore.

In my opinion, Hoover has definitely set the bar pretty high for all its competitors.

How would you like to win one of these impressive pieces of machinery for yourself?? One lucky reader has their chance to win their very own Hoover Platinum Cordless Stick Vacuum.

Purex 3-in-1 Sheets

I unfortunately did not get chosen to be a Purex Insider. I did, however, get the opportunity to test out their new Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry sheets. It's a single sheet with detergent, softener, and anti-static all in one. No more pouring, no more buying big heavy bottles, no measuring, and no more messes. It completely simplifies the way we do laundry. I hate doing laundry, so anything that makes it much easier to do I'll try.

They are extremely simple to use:
  • Just drop the sheet in the washer (standard or high-efficiency), the blue detergent portion of the sheet is released during the wash cycle.
  • Once the wash cycle is completely, transfer the laundry sheet with your clothes to the dryer.
  • The color stripe is heat activated by the dryer to soften and remove static. That's it!
I received the Spring Oasis scent, which I could smell through the box and thought, "this is gonna be overpowering." Honestly, I was very skeptical as to how well my clothes would get clean with just one sheet to do all the work. But as a reviewer, I'm open to anything. I did two loads of laundry. One white load and one bright colors. Usually with the whites, because of how black Hunters socks get, I add a TON of bleach. I decided not to use any bleach at all so I could really just test out the Purex sheets. It was so much easier doing my laundry without the multiple products you can't even imagine. I just dropped the sheet into the washer and never thought about it again. It got all mixed in with my clothes, so when i threw the clothes in the dryer I never even saw it. Of course, i double checked the washer to make sure there were no missing socks, so I knew the sheet had made it into the dryer.

The Results: My whites came out whiter than they normally do when I add bleach. I was shocked! And my bright colors were still nice and bright. The scent was NOT overpowering on my clothes at all. In fact, my clothes smelled so good. My clothes were clean and soft and static free.

So overall, I was really impressed with these laundry sheets. I even told the girls on the Momdot forum how much I loved them, and some of them who also tried them agreed. I will proudly say, that Purex has turned me into a believer and a customer! I will be using these sheets from now on to do my laundry. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!

Wet Giggles- Review

As a mom of one very active and usually dirty boy, especially his fingernails, I'm always trying to find ways to get them clean. What is it with boys and their always nasty dirty fingernails? Allow me to introduce to you all Wett Giggles. Wett Giggles is a nail brush encased in soap with a cute animal toy on top. Each soap is handmade from natural glycerin, and is made one at a time with essential oils and shea butter. Each soap is colorful and scented in yummy scents such as watermelon, coconut banana, grape, etc. The Wett Giggles animals even have names and if you notice, they are all Shakespearean names. There are nine total and all but two come with nail brushes in them. The two that don't are geared more for your toddlers whose little fingers can't handle the brushes.

We received Hamlet (the frog)-watermelon scent and Ophelia (the duck)-lemon essential oil. Hunter thought they were the cutest things and couldn't wait to wash his hands with them. The scents are not overpowering at all, they smell good actually. And I was happy that these soaps get pretty sudsy too. It takes a few washes before the brush starts to appear but Hunter said that was the fun part. He said, "Its pretty cool because you don't know when the brush is gonna pop out." Even when the soap is all gone, he's still gonna have this nail brush with a toy attached to it...and that will keep him interested in cleaning his nails. So all in all I'd say this product is a hit with my son. And I like the fact that he actually enjoys cleaning his finger nails now.

Wett Giggles are reasonably priced and there are three purchasing options. Soap with nail brush $10, soap w/out nail brush $8, and toys w/out soap $5. Something for everyone. If you're trying to promote good hygiene in your house and can't stand dirty fingernails then I would recommend these soaps.

And for my readers Wett Giggles is offering a 2 for the price of 1 deal! You can't go wrong. Especially if you have a son and a daughter, they can each get their own! In order to cash in on this amazing deal use code Carvpj09 and it is case sensitive.

Hotel for Dogs- Review and Giveaway

We are big dog lovers in my house but unfortunately we cannot have dogs in our condo complex. Movies about dogs tend to be a big hit with my son too. He absolutely loves this movie...I think he's probably watched it about a dozen times already. I really had no high expectations when I sat down to watch this movie, however I was pleasantly surprised. This is not your average mediocre movie about dogs, the plot to this movie is entertaining. I am all for movies that I can sit and watch with my son and not be bored. Which is exactly what Hotel for Dogs is. Its a good family film that adults and kids will both enjoy.

Hotel for Dogs is about a brother and sister who are in a foster home that won't allow them to keep their dog, Friday. They find an old abandoned hotel and transform it into a safe place to hide their dog and shelter strays from all over the city. The dogs in this movie are so talented, as are the actors, and the dogs don't talk so it has more of a "realistic" feeling. This is a very heart-warming movie with lots of fun, suspense, action, and humor.

One lucky dog-lover has the chance to win a DVD copy of Hotel for Dogs right here!

To Enter: Leave me a comment here telling me what other Dog movie you love or would love to see. This is the mandatory entry, if it is not followed all other entries with be disqualified.

SinuCleanse- Review

With allergies in full swing many of us are willing to try just about anything for some relief. Thats where SinuCleanse steps in with a complete nasal washing system for the entire family. They provide three safe products for adults and kids to use: a neti pot, squeeze for those who prefer pressure wash, and kids mist. Each product comes with packets of dry saline that are 100% preservative free. SinuCleanse Kids Mist allows parents to ease their infants' and children's nasal discomfort, congestion, allergies, sinus headaches and runny noses. Using saline to wash your child's sinuses is a proven and effective way to reduce and eliminate most sinus related problems.

Let me first start off by saying, I couldn't wait to try the Neti Pot. Traditional Neti Pots are made of ceramic but SinuCleanse made theirs out of plastic for unbreakable purposes. A few years ago I had seen Kelly Ripa use a Neti Pot on Live with Regis and Kelly and ever since then I was intrigued and wanted to try it myself. So, i mixed the dry packet with lukewarm water in the pot and was ready to go. Trust me when I say you NEED to read the directions! You must tip your head all the way to the side so that you face is parallel to the sink. If not, it will end up going to the back of your throat and you'll get that drowning feeling. Obviously, i made that mistake. When I started to pour, I could feel it go to the very back of my sinuses where your sinuses meet your throat...its an awkward feeling but as long as you remain calm and keep breathing through your mouth the solution will begin to pour out of the opposite nostril. It was such an odd feeling. When I was done, I really did notice a difference in breathing through my nose. There was no blockage or stuffiness, I could breath comfortably. It lasted for about 6 to 8 hours which was great and because I liked how easily I could breath I most certainly did it the next day as well.

I am not a fan of squirting or squeezing things up my nose but I did try the SinuCleanse Squeeze. If you like the pressure wash then this is perfect for you. It has an ergonomic tip which seals to most nostrils and anti-back wash valve. I personally, prefer the Neti Pot.

Now onto the SinuCleanse Kids Mist. Just like the Squeeze, it also has an anti-back wash valve to prevent re-contamination. Hunter at first was a little nervous so I showed him the instructional video on the website first and once he saw what it was all about he was ready. After I did one nostril he started giggling like crazy. He said it was weird. But after the giggles stopped he allowed me to do the other side. He didn't say too much when other than it was weird when I asked him what he thought. But since then, he has come to me a number of times and said, "Mommy, I think my nose needs to be cleaned." So i guess that is my answer.

Overall, I was very happy with the SinuCleanse products and most definitely recommend them to anyone looking for sinus relief. The SinuCleanse system is now available at leading retailers nationwide including, CVS, Duane Reade, Longs Drugs, Kroger and many other fine pharmacies, drug stores and health food stores. Or you can order online at their website.

May is Tennis Month- Giveaway

*CLOSED*

Can you believe its already May? I can't. With the month of May we know that summer is right around the corner. Which also means, schools out. Summer vacation can lead to a huge dent in our wallets. I try to find as many fun activities to do in the summer that are free. Here's where tennis comes in. Did you know that May is Tennis month? Well, it is. For Tennis month this year, the USTA just wants to encourage families to get outside and play tennis as a family activity. Its great exercise and most tennis courts are completely free! Plus the USTA started a new learning format called Quickstart that uses small courts and more child appropriate equipment (low compression balls and racquets that vary by age/size) to introduce kids to the game much the same way other sports like baseball (ie Tee Ball) does.

Personally, I love tennis. I think its great exercise and its a ton of fun. We recently received some tennis equipment to help promote Tennis month. I can't even describe how excited Hunter was when we opened the box. There was a racquet for me and one for him, tennis balls, and low compression balls which were nice and soft for him to learn with. We also received a parents guide to help me teach my son some drills. Over the weekend we hit the courts, and this was Hunters first time playing tennis. At first he was just wacking the balls all over the place, which I have to admit was pretty funny. He loved chasing after the balls and hitting them back to me...its a good thing we were the only ones on the court. I had brought the guide with me and the drills were pretty easy to follow. The guide is age appropriate and he was really able to get the hang of it pretty quickly.

By the end of the hour, we were both sweating and still smiling. I, of course, was thinking of all the calories I was burning....bikini here I come. And I think he was just happy to get to run around and smack balls as hard as he could in a structured game. I meant to take pictures of him playing but like a dummy, I forgot my camera. But, still we both had lots of fun and I think tennis is a great activity for families and kids to stay active. So, help the USTA promote Tennis month and get out there with your family and play tennis. Even if you've never played before, you can download the drills guide off the USTA website and they are really easy to follow drills.

To help the USTA promote Tennis month, one of my lucky readers will win their own bundle of tennis equipment. Included is an adult racquet, corresponding racquets to their children’s ages, a canister of adult balls and low compression balls for younger children, quickstart information and corresponding learning manuals for their children also based on age. How awesome is that?
